Our very popular Dive Accident Responder Course (DARC) is specifically designed to meet the needs of recreational divers, who may find themselves needing to deal with a diving accident.
This all day course is held at our Medical Centre in Plymouth. DDRC Healthcare, 8 Research Way, Plymouth Science Park, Plymouth PL6 8BU

*There is an additional cost for PADI/BSAC Recompression Chamber Awareness Specialty Certification if required.
The course will include:
Basic Life Support (BLS) with emphasis on dealing with a diving casualty
Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
Lectures: Including Decompression Illness (DCI) - avoiding it, recognising it, dealing with it and real life case studies of diving accidents.
Fitness to Dive
Pot Dive: Chamber dive to 40m (valid medical clearance and diving certification required)
